Albion (Reach Me Project)
Direct Communications has continued its partnership with the MCA through an extension of the Reach Me grant program to expand high-speed broadband into the town of Albion. This project will provide Gig/Gig speeds to 1,000 homes. This project is anticipated to be completed by October 2026. Currently in Phase 3, Mainline Installation.
7/14/26 – Construction is continuing for this project. If you are a current customer we will contact you to coordinate getting your service upgraded to fiber.
10/5/26 – We are retiring our legacy copper network. If you currently rely on copper for your phone or internet service, please contact our office as soon as possible so we can help you seamlessly transition to our high-speed fiber network.
