Get the Best Internet!
Fiber is built for the future. It is built to handle increasing data demands, so you won’t have to worry about your internet slowing down as tech advances.
Truly Reliable
Unlike old-school cables, fiber doesn’t get messed up by interference or bad weather, meaning your connection stays solid even when everyone else is online.
Balanced Speeds
With fiber, you often get the same fast speeds for uploading and downloading. This is great if you’re into uploading videos, sharing photos, or just backing up your files online.
Super Fast Speeds
Fiber is incredibly quick, so you can binge your favorite shows, play online games, and download big files with ease.
Low Lag
There’s barely any delay, which makes video calls, live streaming, and online gaming way smoother—no more awkward pauses.
Our Fiber Internet Coverage Area is Always Growing
Our roots are in Idaho.
Direct Communications offers fiber internet service to many cities in East Idaho, uncluding: Rockland; Pocatello; Chubbuck; Preston; American Falls; Soda Springs; Montpelier; Aberdeen; Iona; Grace; McCammon; Weston; Arimo; Idaho Falls; Rexburg; Liberty; Bennington; St. Charles; Fish Haven; Dingle; Bear Lake East Shore; Roberts; and more. We regularly expand our network.
We’re pioneering in Maine.
The Direct Communication service area in Maine includes: Brooks; Waldo; Hampden; Belfast; Unity; Albion; Thorndike; Freedom; Knox; Dixmont; and Monroe.
Because overhead lines are used in Maine, as opposed to underground lines, expansion and installation can often happen faster.
Service is in Louisiana.
Formerly Star Communications, Direct Communications service for Louisiana includes: Maringouin; Livonia; Latenache; Innis; Batchelor; Lettsworth; Simmesport; Echo; Poland; Lone Pine; Cheneyville; Grosse Tete; and Rosedale.
As a reminder to all Idaho, Maine and Louisiana cities and areas, fiber internet runs along specific routes. Though we are always adding lines and expanding, service is not a complete coverage like a wireless signal. One of the benefits of the fiber connection is the speed and strength of the signal.
