Expanding High-Speed Internet: BEAD Broadband Projects

Expansion Projects, Fiber

We are excited to share that high-speed fiber internet is coming to more communities through the federal Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) grant program.  These projects will bring reliable, fast internet to underserved rural areas, helping bridge the digital divide.

What This Means for Local Communities

  • Faster & Reliable Speeds: High-speed fiber upload and download rates support remote work, telehealth, and online education.
  • Weather-Resilient Infrastructure: Engineered for hyper-resiliency to maintain steady connectivity during severe weather and environmental challenges.
  • Community Growth: Essential infrastructure designed to support local economic development and digital inclusion.

Stay tuned as construction progresses!
