Position Description:

Part-time technical position primarily responsible for checking As-Builts, coordinating with Construction Crew, Splicers and Field Technicians, verifying fiber and similar activities.  Collects necessary data to assist in construction drawing preparation.  May create splice diagrams and notate most desirable locations for distribution points, demarcation points, etc.  Performs right-of-way and route assessments to confirm route corridor acceptability and cost-efficiency.  Performs a wide variety of administrative and technical duties.  Other coordination duties as assigned by Engineering or Construction Management.


  • High School Diploma or GED, higher education preferred.
  • Prefer engineering experience including underground and overhead utility construction projects, contractor management and As-Built Documentation.
  • Experience with telecommunications, internet and fiber network technology, systems and hardware
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with ability to learn other technical software.
  • Ability to lift 50+lbs
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
