We’re launching a contest to gather video testimonials about how much our Directcom customers in Eagle Mountain LOVE their Blast Router and Blast Wi-Fi service with the accompanying CommandIQ app to manage their home WiFi from anywhere. If you lease a Blast or Gigacenter router from Directcom you are eligible for this video testimonial contest. Two enterprising Directcom Blast customers will be chosen to receive 1 year of free Fiber Internet service. To enter to win:

  1. Record a 3-minute (or less) (1 minute is fine too) video on your phone (shoot it in selfie mode or have someone record you—remember to follow social distancing protocols, but please don’t wear masks in the video).
  2. Tell us why you love your Blast Wi-Fi service and why it’s valuable to you.
  3. Give specific examples about things like: working from home, great performance and whole-home coverage, ease of use and reliability, simple controls of the app and advanced features like parental controls and network security.
  4. Don’t forget to mention the word BLAST!
  5. Have fun in creating your video!
  6. Upload your video to YouTube, or email your video to Direct Communications using
  7. Complete the Blast Video Submission Form.
  8. Email your video file using to [email protected], or upload to YouTube no later than October 9th, 2020

Your testimonial video must be three (3) minutes or less. The following formats will be accepted: MPEG4, MOV, AVI, 3GPP, FLV, WMV, PS or WebM.
Or, you may simply upload your video to YouTube and send us the link.

Keep it clean. Your submission must be “G” rated and appropriate for all ages. No immodesty, foul language, or other inappropriate or offensive content will be accepted.
If music is used in your video, you must provide copyright releases with your submission.

Two winners will be chosen by Directcom judges.

All videos must be submitted by October 9, 2020, 11:59 PM MST.

Judges will select two WINNERS, each of whom will receive a PRIZE OF 12 Months of free 1-gigabit ps Internet service.


The 2 winners will be determined by the Directcom Judging. Winners will be notifed by phone, or email and their names and videos will be posted to our Facebook page or website site by October 30, 2020

The Competition is open only to Direct Communications Fiber customers residing in the Eagle Mountain exchange area. You must subscribe to Blast Wifi service (meaning that you lease a router from Direct Communications) to produce a testimony about the Blast Wifi service.

The Competition Producer reserves the right to deny entry and/or remove an entry from the competition if the Competition Producer comes to believe or suspect that a Contestant resides in a state that prohibits or discourages participating in a contest of this nature.


Free service awards applies only to simplifiber broadband services and not to phone, additional features, leased equipment, or other peripheral services.


Each video must be no longer than three (3) minutes in length. Any Contestant that submits a video that does not meet all of the requirements identified on the Online Entry Form is ineligible for the Competition. Each Contestant is solely responsible to secure properly executed and valid releases, including talent release forms for any person(s) whose image appears or voice is heard in any video submitted by the Contestant at any point during the Competition, and the Competition Producer may, in its sole and absolute discretion, require any Contestant to provide copies of all relevant releases. All Submitted Videos must be free from any third-party obligations, including, without limitation, obligations (including, without limitation, any residual, royalty, participation or contingent compensation of any kind or nature, however, determined, re-use, pension, health and welfare fund and payroll tax payments, etc.) to unions, guilds, actors, directors, producers, craftsmen, musicians, composers, performers or other persons or entities for services rendered in connection with such Submitted video s. In addition, a Contestant will be disqualified if any video submitted by such Contestant (a) includes (or the Competition Producer believes that it includes) any endorsements or so-called “commercial tie-ins”, (b) infringes (or the Competition Producer believes that it may infringe) the intellectual property rights of a third party, (c) contains any material which the Competition Producer in its sole and absolute discretion deems inappropriate or offensive, (d) contains any material that the Competition Producer in its sole and absolute discretion believes is unlikely to fall within the guidelines of a G rating under the Motion Picture Association of America Rating System, (e) contains any content that the Competition Producer in its sole and absolute discretion believes might (i) subject the Competition Producer or any other person or entity to unfavorable regulatory action, (ii) violate any law, statute, rule, regulation or ordinance, (iii) infringe the rights of any person or entity, or (iv) subject the Competition Producer or any other person or entity to liability for any reason. Notwithstanding anything in the Rules to the contrary, the Competition Producer reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to remove a video from the Competition for any or no reason. If the Competition Producer removes a video from the Competition, the Competition Producer has no obligation to, but may at its discretion, allow the Contestant that submitted that video to submit another video in its place or remain in the Competition
